Memories Connect Us -

Memories are always special. Sometimes we laugh by remembering the days we cried. And sometimes we cry by remembering the days we laughed. That’s life. The power of memories is hard to put into words. We’re capable of remembering events we attended, games we played, people we met, and so much more from years and even decades ago. Even an exchange that may have lasted for a minute or two all that time ago can etch itself into our memories.

Memories Connect Us

Memories keep us connected to those that we lose and, at the same time, create special bonds with those in our life. When we lose someone special, it’s natural to experience pain and a feeling of loss. But then we begin to remember the good times. The funny things they did and said, or the way they made us feel special, and suddenly, it’s as though they are still there with us. That’s why it’s so important to create those moments while you can. Those moments are tomorrow’s memories. So create them, cherish them, and make lots of them.

Something to Think About

It’s interesting how we sometimes spend more time thinking about those who we have lost than those who are still here. It’s easy to take for granted those that we see each day, and to think there will always be a tomorrow. Don’t take anything for granted.

This week, create a memory with someone you love. A trip, a meal, a call, or anything that will put a smile on your face, and theirs, for years to come.
