"Old High Grove" is a former 10 acre citrus grove located in East Charlotte County off well maintained paved road. This parcel is part of a former 3,640 acre citrus grove developed decades ago by the Freeman Bros. of Miami and later sold to American Agronomics (OrangeCo) as the Bermont Grove unit & then resold and managed for investors around the world. The general area and the property are ideal for wild hog & turkey including deer, if properly maintained for wildlife. This is in a vast area of scattered small & large groves & ranches. The vacant land in the area is owned by many out of state and out of the area owners. The land is ditched on all sides for maintaining the water table in the area so agricultural crops and citrus operations can be maintained. The elevation is about 60 feet above sea level. Recently the area has been sought as a homesite away from the larger cities of Central & South Florida.
