Some say that the four seasons represent the four seasons of life. Spring is a time for new beginnings and planting seeds to take root. New growth and new opportunities bloom around us, and within us. Summer is a time for relaxing, spending time with family and friends, and the enjoyment of all the beauty in our lives in full swing. Fall represents the reaping of the harvest, winding down, and gathering all that the year has brought to us so that we can reflect on our blessings and what we are grateful for. It is also the time when the leaves and trees teach us a valuable lesson about letting go. Though they fall and fade away, we have faith and trust in their return when it is time. Winter, then, represents the most difficult times in our life. Colder, shorter, and darker days stand in stark contrast to our sunny summer months but still delivers some of the most joyous holidays we celebrate all year. We like that Mother Nature has her own particular reminders for us about planting roots, kicking back, letting go, and finding joy. We wish for you an extraordinary month ahead filled with so many things to be thankful for and we thank you for allowing us to be part of your Weekly Motivation!

We are in the season of Thanksgiving. If you haven’t started one yet, consider beginning a gratitude journal, or adding a spot on your daily calendar to write down those things you are grateful for each day. You can be in a stressful profession and that daily pause to remind yourself of what’s going right can go a long way towards keeping perspective when things sometimes go sideways.
