The community is an area in Valrico, Florida near the Buckhorn Springs Golf and Country Club, which is widely recognized as one of the finest golfing facilities in the area. It’s also a great place to live!
Several neighborhoods near the golf course make up the area: Buckhorn Golf Estates, Buckhorn Trace, Buckhorn Groves, Buckhorn Oaks, Buckhorn Hills, Springs Manor, and Preserve.
The largest neighborhood in the Golf Estates, which is a community of 651 homes and is located directly on the golf course. Most of the homes were built in the late 1980’s and 1990’s with open floor plans, high ceilings, and a distinct Florida look.
Excellent public and private schools are close by.
There are lots of things do in the area- besides golfing and golf lessons, the country club offers tennis, swimming, and an active social calendar. Nearby you’ll find the Campo Family YMCA, several dance schools, and numerous after-school activity programs. The Bloomingdale Regional Public Library is just a few minutes away.
Restaurant choices are plentiful, too- there’s everything from fast food and pizza places to full-service formal dining are in the area.
Medical care is also easy to find- there’s an urgent care center right around the corner, and All Children’s Specialty Care and Brandon Regional Hospital are only about 10 minutes away.
The neighborhood is highly sought after by homeowners who are looking for a good value in a lovely, well-maintained community. HOA fees are extremely low and home prices are quite reasonable. It’s also a great area to live for anyone who needs to commute- getting to downtown Tampa and the surrounding communities is a breeze from here.
