July 2019 RE/MAX Housing Report

The July 2019 housing report uses the numbers for June 2019. While July 2019 home sales increased 2.4% higher than July 2018, the median sales price surged 6.7% from July 2018 to be  $273,000.00. Which is up 9.2% from July 2018. Having 43 days as average time on market, which is actually up 2 days from July 2018.

The total number of homes for sale decreased by 1.4% from July 2018, in accordance with the July 2019 RE/MAX National Housing Report that analyzes housing data in 54* metro areas.

We are averaging less than a week on the market with the last 10 homes we have listed. And every single one of them has had no issues with appraisals. It makes sense to list your home where the market is telling you. Utilizing the most recent sales is key in pricing your home. Condition comes into play. Unfortunately you can not get the price per square foot that a home with granite, stainless steel appliances, new flooring, when you have white appliances, Formica counters and 14 year old carpeting.
