Covington Park is a neighborhood of more than 1,000 single-family homes and villas located in Apollo Beach. The neighborhood is convenient to both U.S. 41 and I-75, so commuters will enjoy an easy drive to Tampa, St. Petersburg, or Sarasota. Even Orlando is only about an hour and a half away. Here, you can avoid the crowds and heavy traffic, but still be close to everything you need.
The neighborhood offers a wide array of amenities- there are two pools, a clubhouse, fitness center, tennis courts, playground, multipurpose athletic field, and basketball courts.
Homes in the neighborhood typically range from two to four bedrooms, with two to three bathrooms. Home sizes most commonly range from just under 1,000 square feet to over 3,500 square feet. Many of them enjoy lovely lake or conservation views. Recent prices have ranged from the low $100,000’s to the upper $200,000’s.
Schools in the area include Inez Doby Elementary, Eisenhower Middle, and East Bay High School. There are also multiple private schools, preschools, and daycare facilities in the area.
Several large employers are convenient to the neighborhood, including St. Joseph’s Hospital (about three miles away) and the one-million+ square foot Amazon Fulfillment Center, which is only about 15 minutes away.
Medical care is easy to find, too- St. Joseph’s hospital is close by, and numerous doctors’ and dentists’ offices are also nearby.
If you like to get outdoors, you’ll enjoy having the Vance Vogel Park just about five minutes away. The park has baseball, football, soccer, and softball fields. There’s also a hiking trail if you want to get in your daily power walk.
