Bonterra Community

Bonterra is an upscale, gated community in Valrico, Florida with less than 100 homes. Located east of I-75, close to I-4, and just off East Brandon Boulevard (S.R. 60), this tree-lined neighborhood is a commuter’s dream. It’s convenient to downtown Tampa, the Gulf beaches, and even Sarasota and Orlando.

Schools in the nearby area include Valrico Elementary, Mulrennan Middle, and Durant High School. There are also several private schools, preschools, and daycare facilities in the vicinity.

If you like to shop, you’ll love it that this neighborhood is less than 15 minutes away from the Westfield Brandon- which offers a multitude of shopping and dining options, as well as community events and a 20-screen movie theater.

Outdoorsy types will appreciate that the neighborhood is just about five minutes from Sydney Dover Trails- a county park with 7.5 miles of trails that are used for hiking, biking, and horseback riding within a gorgeous natural setting. It also has picnic tables and restroom facilities. There’s also a boat ramp and fishing available at the park.

Like to golf? There are seven golf courses within about a 10-mile drive, including the Buckhorn Springs Golf and Country Club- which offers gorgeous views of trees, lakes, and natural springs (as well as swimming facilities, tennis, and social events).

The neighborhood’s HOA fees are quite reasonable, and there are no CDD fees. Typical homes in the community have 3-5 bedrooms and 2-4 baths, with two- or three-car garages. Recent home prices have ranged from the $200,000’s to the mid $300,000’s.
