Avelar Creek is a gated community of newer townhouses and single-family homes located in Riverview, Florida.

This deed-restricted neighborhood has a clubhouse, community pool, and a playground.

It's conveniently located near I-75 and U.S. 301, so getting around the Tampa Bay area is quick and easy. Even downtown Tampa and the beautiful Gulf beaches aren't far from this lovely community!

Shopping, dining, houses of worship, and parks are all just a quick drive away. Major employers are moving into the area, too, like the new Amazon Fulfillment Center in Ruskin (less than 15 minutes away).

You'll never go hungry with all the restaurants that are just a few minutes' drive away. You'll find authentic casual Mexican food at Taqueria Don Julio, plus fresh sushi and steak at Sakura Japanese Steakhouse and much more, all close by.

If you or your children enjoy sports, you'll be glad to know that there's a county park named Vance Vogel Park nearby that has baseball, football, soccer, and softball fields. There's also a YMCA that's being built near the park.

Several golf courses are close to the neighborhood, including Summerfield Crossings Golf Club, which is only about five minutes away.

Numerous schools are nearby and include Summerfield Crossings Elementary, Eisenhower Middle, and East Bay High School. There are also several preschools, day care services, and private schools in the area.

Prices are moderate in the Avelar Creek neighborhood, providing a lot of house for the money.

Most of the single-family homes offer three to four bedrooms and two to three bathrooms with two or three car garages, while the maintenance-free townhomes are usually three bedrooms with 2.5 bathrooms. Many of the homes back up to a lake or conservation area.
