Alafia Cove is small gated community located near the Alafia River in Riverview, Florida. Homes in the neighborhood are spacious, luxurious, and surrounded by unspoiled natural Florida beauty. Most lots enjoy private views. With only 29 custom-built homes in the subdivision, you won’t feel crowded here. Although it’s tucked away from crowds and congestion, you’ll find that it’s just a quick drive to schools, shopping, restaurants, and entertainment choices. Publix, drugstores, doctors, and dentists are all within a five minute drive.

Residents of the neighborhood can launch a canoe or go fishing from the community river access that’s just across the street, or you can launch your boat, fish, or enjoy a picnic at Riverview Park (which is just about a mile away). The Riverview Civic Center is located within Riverview Park and is available to rent for parties or other special events. Before heading home from a day of fishing and enjoying the outdoors on the Alafia River, you can pull up your boat or canoe to a quaint riverside restaurant called the Beer Shed to enjoy a burger and a cold drink while listening to live music. It’s just a couple of minutes upriver from the boat ramp.

Even though the Alafia Cove neighborhood is quiet and serene, it’s also conveniently situated near major access roads. Brandon, downtown Tampa, and the Gulf beaches are all an easy drive away. Homes in the neighborhood range in size from around 2,200 square feet to over 4,000 square feet, with three or more bedrooms and at least two baths. Most have two or three car garages. Recent prices start at around $300,000.
